Except for the mex probem mentioned by @FtXCommando , the answer is no (if you still have an acceptable mass income or storage). More engineers should always either make no difference or increase the speed of building. However, it is usually vastly easier to increase the speed of a project by pausing other energy consumers in your base than to just increase the build power ratio of the project by putting more engineers on it while stalling. And you usually want to do the pausing anyway to not stall shields or radar.

    I use Reshade and have been for years, it works fine. Make sure to direct it to the FAF install and not Steam

    Tragedy of the commons. No one joins good maps because of a 10+ minute lobbysim, so 10+ minute lobbysim will always be the default. The solution is to join the lobby anyway, and hope others are more inclined to join the lobby because you're already in there. Alternatively, play TMM.

    There are several maps and mods that do what you're thinking of: the gamemode is called 'Survival'. Check out the map RainMakers Survival, or perhaps Battle of Thermopylae Survival. Also see this thread.

    I would say the biggest hurdles would be the technical issues. If it were easy to detect laggers and prevent them from playing matchmaker I think we’d be happy to add that. There are some GPGNet messages called Bottleneck and BottleneckCleared that the server can see. I don’t know what they do but judging by their names they sound like they could possibly be used to detect at least when a game is lagging, and maybe that could be correlated to a particular player? I don’t really have the time to investigate that sort of thing at the moment though.

Yes, most likely Basically, making sure Maintenance in which I see as improving existing infrastructure is focused on (maybe GW too ) By far, Dev Dairies are the easiest just because I already have good connections in that area to be able to establish that. The hardest, I think is probably creating a more connected and cohesive FAF Community that heavily supports Tournaments, Development, and other things through fundraising. This is just an extremely difficult task as engagement in my eyes isn't very high from the average player. It depends on how large my job is/becomes. I think Community Manager has a lot of potential to be an outreach to the general population. I think i'll definitely be looking for help and ideas!

    I decided to pull up the water settings for some biomes in the editor, and compared to the default, it looks like the values for lerp/sky reflections/sun strength are generally higher, and the surface colors are generally blackened. I might make a pr that makes some adjustments...
