    You should make a Github issue for this, I agree it's silly that readying up redraws the quality. At the same time... This is what the kick button is for, and if more hosts kicked people who were being disruptive the community would be a better place.

Yes it's elitist but it's required to maintain the sanity of people who know what they're doing In truth even some high rated players can be seriously wrong, so ideally for sladow the players would be handpicked, but then the community would see this as a biased circlejerk of people who are gatekeeping balance

    It´s not about the mex problem only, but the asymetric/mex thing occures very often. A very weak player gets the mex rich side and then you are screwed. Like i said, ugly maps, bad colors, asymetric, plain boring, weird style, scattered mass ( Roomba simulator ), depressing lighting. When everything comes together you just want ctr-k and end this. Why human made 2v2/4v4 maps are better looking, variations of desert/terran/carribean are so nice for the eyes, share of eyebleeding Mars/Ice maps are overrepresented in 3v3, they could just change the config, this should take just minutes, less ugly colors would definitely help. Share of Mars maps/ice maps should be 5%-10%, not more. I don´t want play 4v4 just because 3v3 maps looks like shit. Generally i like generated map, it´s like a slot machine, you lose like 99% times and 1% you get lucky Jokes aside, i´m in favor of generated maps, but there should be more quality or selection options.

    While we appreciate and make use of our Patreon funding, Brutus has already written a very good post about how the issues FAF is experiencing are largely independent of funding and more money wouldn't do much to solve them.

    I'm a programmer. People are welcome to contribute by trying to make more readable patch notes or by experimenting with alternative media. But I'm not going to spent more time on it then I already do; a dozen or so of hours just to make something representative for the Github release pages is what my primary aim is at the moment.

    I understand the importance of timely moderation, but that is simply not doable with the current volunteer manpower and the daily number of incoming reports. The moderation system is designed to effectively eliminate the most harmful and toxic elements. Processing all one-time reports is impossible, but Moderators are aware of them. Usually, cases involving extremely offensive one-time reports are given higher priority as well. The role of a Moderator requires an investment of personal free time, effort, experience, and a controlled temperament. Addressing reports effectively goes beyond merely recruiting a handful of loosely interested individuals to join the Moderator team.     @redx I always just remind myself that engineering stations exist for the sole purpose of avoiding the clumsy nature of engineers! With that in mind, I treat engineer micro with the same respect a player would treat combat micro. Mastering badass engineer micro for macro wins!

    Well, the issue is still available here to follow https://github.com/FAForever/downlords-faf-client/issues/2943 When the feature depends on server changes then it will probably take much more time than usual and with all the backlog with much more important stuff, I do not see it happen in the next time, unless a developer has cherrypicked it for personal reasons.

    The blips are managed by the engine. There are Lua alternatives, such as temporarily (300ms ticks or so) giving vision on the location in question so that the intel system knows what changed. But this can also show units or upgrades that were previously not known to you.

    Agree, the stealth upgrade on Cybran com is much less useful now, it’s basically more for HP which is a further homogenization of the factions. The “problem” of units not immediately appearing at the edge of vision in fog of war never seemed like a huge issue to me
