    Still great advice! I would only add one point which is, find like minded people to play with. If you are looking to improve on Ladder (TMM now) or Custom x vs x games and find that you are unable to perform good enough to win on your own, make some friends and queue together because at the end of the day, even if you do everything perfectly, you are playing a team game. As Picard once said: "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose." Sometimes your opponent is just better. Use those times to learn from them.

    The feature for not removing empty reclaim orders didn't make it in. The implementation of Strogo wasn't fool proof, we couldn't include that. We're working on an alternative, but that didn't make the deadline. @magge There was a patch which integrated ACS Better to call it deprecated / incompatible. It wasn't fully integrated.

    before setting up a VPN or DNS, try to configure the connection by disabling IPv6. leave Ipv4. this is an ancient problem, at one time everyone solved it and safely forgot. if the problem remains, then try the methods described above.

    @decision кстати, а ты не проверял работоспособность без настройки DNS просто отклюбчив ipv6 или назначив ipv4 в качестве приоритетного стандарта для подключения. помню была проблема у людей с IPv6, отключение переход на IPv4 помогало. Правда проявлялась иначе, но и клиент/сервер фаф с тех пор менялся/совершенствовался и не раз.

    Using OneDrive folders are known to cause problems. Having no-ASCII characters in the windows username is also known to cause problems

    Achievements are hidden in a separate window and are not so noticeable. The problem is big and not a priority. If there is something from the main functionality concerning the main task of the client, then it is better not to be distracted by these cosmetic trifles! Maybe then it's better to turn them off. The functionality that does not work is like a red rag for a bull - extra nervousness and an incentive to senseless action. At least this way the problem will be solved in terms of complaints. Personally, this problem with achievements annoys me much less than those drops in the global games statistics graph during the 2vs2 matchmaker tests. That's where it would definitely be worth doing something... delete the data for a couple of weeks while the test lasted and everything was not corrected , or somehow try to transfer the data to the desired schedule...

    You can run FAF in Windowed mode. Options > Video> Primary adapter> Windowed

    @veteranashe yes, buy a phisical copy, it should have a key on a disk, using key redeem game on steam, don't even need to use the disk

    We won't introduce additional IO functionality. As Brutus states, it is extremely dangerous. @Genos is technically correct that we can already flood the disk, but that isn't an argument to open up more IO functionality.
