    that's two pretty cool ideas. both are really pertinent. I think the first idea in particular because newer players often say they can't identify at all with the 2000+ type game-play they often see in videos and this makes it hard to captivate students. so showing them 400 rated play is much better. the dualist did a series kinda like this : https://youtu.be/NK-LvGL9HKc he's no FA expert though so I can see how having commentary from someone more knowledgeable would really improove this recipe.

    The tournament is over. Congratulations to: Nuggets and Rhaelya taking 1st place Swato and Ikigami going at 2nd place Vindex and Archsimkat with 3rd place secured Thanks for everyone who participated or watched the event. Thanks for registrants who warned beforehand about being a little bit later or not being able to participate. It has made simultaneous management of table match ups much easier. I was pretty happy about the format and the mod. The mod wasn't intended to be super strong in every map provided. Yet we've saw some pretty good combat SACUs even on some less expected maps. And that's without breaking game balance. The Swiss with rolling rounds allowed for swifter match ups, which was already noticeable at 11 teams and would be even more noticeable if we had 16-20 teams like in DAT2. I'll look forward to perfect it in the future. Maybe I'll make a separate math/stats/discussion post about tourney formats later on.

I’d also like to express my gratitude to the TD team and everyone who helped organize the event. Without their support, it would have been overwhelming, but the tournament turned out fantastic! It went so well that we might considering turning this into a series?!—so stay tuned for the 2025 tournament schedule! With the renewed enthusiasm within our TD team, next year looks very promising!
