    Still great advice! I would only add one point which is, find like minded people to play with. If you are looking to improve on Ladder (TMM now) or Custom x vs x games and find that you are unable to perform good enough to win on your own, make some friends and queue together because at the end of the day, even if you do everything perfectly, you are playing a team game. As Picard once said: "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose." Sometimes your opponent is just better. Use those times to learn from them.

    If you have a client version before 2022.1.4 there was a bug where it might not download the generator correctly so try updating your client.

    Usually, surround sound causes problems with Supreme Commander. Just enforce stereo sound in your windows settings or sound software. Обычно объемный звук вызывает проблемы с Supreme Commander. Просто включите стереозвук в настройках windows или звуковой программы.

    Map generator can not create the map file. Your OS or Antivirus is blocking it, I assume, because you deliver zero information about anything else about your system.

    Resolved the issue and wanted to provide closure if anyone else finds this thread. I uninstalled and deleted the sup com games (vanilla and fa), deleted the fad client, then resinstalled the games and the faf client. Went into faf settings and updated the patching to where I had supcom fa installed. After that, i was able to create/enter games. Thanks to Sheikah for their help.

    I had the same problem and it turned out to be a failed cpu heating system. Replaced it and all is well (almost). Also found that the network part of my motherboard was failing so I had to put in a new network card. BTW, my computer is a desktop that is 4 1/2 years old but still works great (except for the parts that failed
