Your Rating will not matter unless you are a Top 12 Captain.
It effects their order for the 1st and 2nd round draft picks.
12th seeded Captain Gets 1st and 13th pick of player pool.
11th seeded Capt. gets 2nd and 14th player picks.
up to the 1st seeded Captain who gets player picks 12 and 24.

Everyone else is in a big pool of players.
The Captains can pick anyone in the pool they desire,
and may skip someone with higher rating for a friend or
someone who speaks the same language.
So the exact order you stand in the lower 24 is not too critical.

During Draft period, or before-
I imagine you might want to reach out to certain captains,
or advertise on this thread your strengths.
Just like a real draft

We also need Extras to sign up,-
Because even if you do not get chose for an Original 12 team,
Players will still need to get drafted for any Week #1 no shows,
or for Week #2 substitutes.
If you can't make Day 1.....
You may sign up as a potential Day 2 Substitute,
(It does not guarantee placement,
but allows a team to consider you if they need a substitute)
Just stipulate "For Day 2", during this weeks sign up.i am ready to play every day
