еще можно создать собственную тему для клиента ФАФ для этого в папке .faforever ищем папку themes, затем в ней создаем папку faf_theme_1 и там создаем текстовый файл с содержимым: displayName=faf_theme_1 author=username compatibilityVersion=1 themeVersion=1 сохраняем этот файл с именем theme и присваиваем ему расширение .properties в итоге имеем файл: theme.properties затем создаем еще один текстовый файл в той же папке с содержимым: .text { -fx-font-family: "Times New Roman"; -fx-font-size: 20px; } сохраняем этот файл с именем style_extension и присваиваем ему расширение .css в итоге имеем файл: style_extension.css (поясню: Times New Roman -название шрифта; 20px -размер кегля(высота); использован язык разметки CSS) Далее (надо переключить в настройках тему по умолчанию на нашу, но так как в клиенте у вас ничего не понятно) идем в папку с клиентом".faforever" находим файл client.prefs и в нем найти/редактировать или создать в самом конце строку: "themeName" : "faf_theme_1", врубить клиент и наслаждаться тем как клиент выглядит с этим шрифтом... полная инфа по созданию тем есть в ВИКИ https://github.com/FAForever/downlords-faf-client/wiki/Themeing#the-different-files

@jip ah yeah if the coop isn't mounting the folder properly then yeah it needs to be changed. Coop maps are not treated differently from other maps.

The unoffical python client works for me now.

Hello. Thanks for the answer. The issue is that if I kill the process, I will lose connection to the game for sure. My point was that refafing can make FAF quit and if it happens, for sure, I will not be able to get the connection back. Thanks a lot.

Caused by: java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException Something is blocking a .dll file. Try to disable your security software while installing/updating.

I know, mea culpa. Last server update turned on my rewrite of the replay server and it's not working too well. I'll fix it and in the meantime I'll ask our server guys to revert to the previous version.

Before this update it would mean you couldn't reconnect after losing connection to someone. Going forward I don't think it would help much unless you think the client lost connection to the server and failed to auto reconnect. But this also improved the reconnect logic so that should not be the case as often anymore.

Looks like the underlying problem was caused by Norton Antivirus Data Protector. I deleted the old 'C:\Program Files\Downlord's FAF Client' folder and down loaded the latest FAF client installer from https://www.faforever.com/ When I tried to run this I got a "Data Protector blocked a suspicious action by faf_windows-x64_2022_4_0(1).exe" message. I managed to get Norton to exclude this process and then everything seemed to run okay. [image: 1651252965315-2022-04-29-1-resized.png]
