    Caused by: java.nio.file.AccessDeniedException: C:\ProgramData\FAForever\cache\featured_mod Seems like folder/file permission related or security software is blocking access.

    Still great advice! I would only add one point which is, find like minded people to play with. If you are looking to improve on Ladder (TMM now) or Custom x vs x games and find that you are unable to perform good enough to win on your own, make some friends and queue together because at the end of the day, even if you do everything perfectly, you are playing a team game. As Picard once said: "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose." Sometimes your opponent is just better. Use those times to learn from them.

    Found the problem: I transfered the My Documents Folder from C drive to a different drive a while ago. If that drive is not connected I get this error.

    Does that file exists? "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\init.lua" If yes, delete it, if not, it might be AV blocking it.

    Unfortunately disconnects while in game are known to cause long delays of logging back in for an unknown reason.

    I have not the same, but simular problem. I can connect to client, can wach replay and can even host, but cant connect to any other player in ther games. There a log http://www.filedropper.com/clientlog2020-11-23 Do not know is it same problem or not, but maybe you shold post log too.

    account linking issue

    I searched the replay vault, and a player with your name (the name that shows up on your forum posts, specifically: "thenewIKB") created some games on November 14-15, 2020. You would not have been able to do that in November of 2020 unless this account was already linked to steam. Are you trying to log in to the FAF client with the username "thenewIKB"? Try logging in to FAF with the same username/password that you used to log in to the forums.
