Steam linking error

This happened when I walked away from my computer for an hour approximately, leaving the steam authorization tab opened. When I returned I logged in but this error occured. Now steam button doesnt work, causing this message to pop up

Log out and log back in again. I don't know why the error doesn't just say that instead of displaying 400 random characters.
