      @blackyps whilst a great idea, a list of popular seeds would certainly have great value in it's own right, especially if integrated into the vault. it requires vault integration to get adequate attention and traction.

      why are mapgen maps on the vault against the rules, who's idea was that?

      obviously flooding the vault with mapgen maps would not be a good situation to get into,

      however the rules seem to explicitly forbid using mapgen as the basis for a new map.

      AI is a powerful tool when used creatively, instead of shoveling out what amounts to a list of seeds.

      more regional coturn servers for the ICE adapter could be good.

      one in each active region would be good. Australia, North America, South America, Africa, India and South East Asia could each have connectivity significantly improved.

      otherwise anything improving the new player experience and continuing to grow FAF's playerbase is probably the optimal direction

      In the original game when you die all your units explode, except what you've given to your allies, which they keep.
      FAF has introduced several new sharing settings, and in the process depreciated the original mode.
      I suggest returning it, along with even more modes.

      Here are the existing options followed by my suggestions.

      • Full Share
        Your units will be transferred to your highest rated ally when you die. Previously transferred units will stay where they are.

      • Share Until Death (default)
        All units you have built this game will be destroyed when you die, except those captured by the enemy.

      • Partial Share
        Your buildings and engineers will be transferred to you highest rated ally when you die, Your other units will be destroyed when you die, except those captured by the enemy

      • Traitors
        You units swill be transferred to the control of your killer.

      • Defectors
        Your units will be transferred to the enemy with the highest score when you die

      • Civilian Desertion
        Your units will be transferred to the civilian AI, if there is one, when you die.

      • Share After Death (legacy)
        All units you have built this game will be destroyed when you die, except previously transferred units, and any captured by the enemy.

      • No Share
        Sharing is disabled. All units you have built this game will be destroyed when you die, except those captured by the enemy.

      • Chaotic dispersion
        All uniuts you have built this game will be transferred to random players when you die.

      • Losers advantage
        All units you have built this game will be transferred to the player with the lowest score when you die.

      i''m sure someone will appreciate them.

      would be really nice to have statistics including ETA, total/current remaining file size, current spead, etc

      on some connections initial download can take multiple hours, especially if joining a heavily modded lobby.

      how about the opposite of a mercy, but still a mercy.... way more health, way less damage, lower mass cost, still explodes and dies with current animation.

      i love the feel of the animation and damage, i just wonder if it would still be satisfying if the numbers were flipped.

      this should be an official lobby option.

      i also think the original share condition, where anything you had given allies remained after your death, but anything in your possession explodes. "Share after death" vs current "share until death".

      share after death and decapitation should both become rated FAF lobby options.

      @deribus i can only guess im conflating false memories with the times shields have gotten in the way. some chance to miss would be good. as hard as dodging multiple corsairs/nothas.

      AoE good. DoT not.
