FAF connection +-20min to enter lobby?

Hi, me and some friends play casual FAF. We havent played for a few months and since last week started again. Before everything was just working very good but now we are just sitting in the "connecting screen" then playing. The last 5 times we have been trying to connect for 1 to 2 hours before we gave up. We get connected after +- 20min, and then sometimes get desync when we connect. so we restart and again +-20 min to connect.
Is there something wrong with the servers? Or how can we check what the problem is?
