Funny bug - scorcher bomb salvo finds new target

No serious issue, just a weird funny bug apparently:
I gave a Scorcher one target, then selected a new target outside its range. By coincidence, I clicked while the bombs had just started to drop. The first two bombs dropped on the original target, and the remaining bombs got dropped backwards to the new target, way beyond what the bomber range should be. They behaved like targeted missiles.

Same thing happens with the Sunken Colony in Starcraft: Wait for it to initiate an attack, suddenly change target, and it can attack a target out of its range.
