Openjdk 50+% cpu usuage.... help plz

Heya
recently, likely after last update, i have noticed my game(multiplayer) slowing down, DRASTICLY compared to earlier...The only thing i have seen change, is the "Openjdk" which, afaik is the "Ice connection program".
over time (10-15?min) it will start to use ALOT more cpu than it used to do and as a result slows the game down drasticly.i have updated my graphic card drivers but other than that i dont know what to do, in order to rectify it...
