      Hey all,

My partner has been trying to get FAF working on their steam deck (it's used docked), and it's been a bit of a pain.
We followed the rough guide by Ossitech on this thread:
      https://forum.faforever.com/topic/4604/faf-steam-deck/13?_=1703815223574

readonly has been disabled, account made etc - all is good till we got to making the actual package.
First issue was fakeroot not being found which we solved with an overwrite sudo of fakeroot.
We were then able to run makepkg but got missing dependencies: jdk17-openjdk and lib32-libxcomposite

Installing jdk17 via gitclone and script seems to achieve nothing, same issue pops up (I'm aware it wouldn't work fully but one would expect at least that dependency to be cleared up).
I wouldn't even know where to start with lib32.
The original thread kinda fizzles out after Ossitech's post and I haven't been able to find much else on the topic.
We'd use a dualboot Windows for FAF if we could but the designated SD has kicked the bucket.
Any linux wizards or deck power users out there that could help?

      Cheers!

I don't have a Steam deck or a Linux machine in general, but you could join the Discord and search for discussions on the topic, I know there have been a few.
