Seeking assistance with the Volcano Script

This is such a fantastic little invention that I want to see used more, but I am struggling to make it functional. The two maps which have it (that I am aware of) are 'Volcano Beach' and 'Next To Me'. I have copied the script and created the custom Markers, to no avail. There is no error log, and Lua writing is not my strong suit, so any insight is appreciated.

Did you add an army called "VULCAN" under Extra Armies on the Map > Armies Tab?
