Supreme Commander Always Zooms Into The Same Position On Map

Recently in some games Supreme Commander gets stuck and always zooms into the same place on the map making the game unplayable.
I tried pressing 'End' and 'v' and nothing I did helped. It cleared by itself for the next game but then resurfaced.
Is this a known problem at all ?
Are there any known fixes ?

I had this a while back and I am pretty sure it was hardware-related.

Disable all mods should fix it
