      Hi @ all,

      after the Update yesterday all my settings r gone. mods, keybindinds, templates... everything. i dont understnad why and how i can restore them.

        The last client update was on Aug 17 - What did you update?

        Everything is saved in the game.prefs

        C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

        If it got deleted or overwritten - Maybe you have luck with some file recovery software.

          it was not the client. it was a hotfix for the game.

          I also had to notice that I only have very few options in the game settings. Normally, the list is longer. For example, I miss the option to rotate building templates with the mouse's middle wheel.

            I think you had reset the Supreme Commander files via GOG/Steam somehow, that would explain the missing options and the config reset. The last FAF hotfix was on Aug 11.

              Yeah, that's really strange. Yesterday, I had this update screen after I hosted a new game. Right after that, all settings were reset to default.

              I just noticed that I have a game.pref BAD file and a TEMP file from yesterday next to the actual pref file. So, I just copied everything from the temp file into the pref file, and now everything is back to normal. I can also rotate the templates with the mouse again, even though the option isn't in the settings. ... I don't really get it all
