Spectator Music

Greetings,
I made the music mod (Phillip Crofts) and an issue has been brought to my attention by a caster using the mod.
Since he is a spectator, when casting games he only gets the peace music playing unless he clicks on a player pov, which is rare and short when it happens.
I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas on how the music could function fully as an observer so that battle music also plays.Cheers.

Seems like a difficult issue. The UI only registers events for units that are part of your focus army. As an observer you have no units. Hence no music triggers. You can't register events of units of other focus armies (to prevent cheating, among others).
I'm not sure how to do this. Maybe @Ctrl-K has an idea

@jip Interesting, thank you for the response. I wonder if some kind of work around is possible. From what you described it does sound like a tricky problem to solve.

@jip no, you have to observe an army to get callback of unit being damaged.
