FAF Skirmish games do not run

I start the app.
Choose my map.
Choose my mods.
Choose my AI's, I play myself vs all other slots are AI's of different types.
When I launch the game it shows the map, shows where my ACU is located but doesn't have the actual icon on the map. I can choose to build something but nothing actually starts. The mass and power bars are active and building up resources. There is music playing. When I choose to build something all of the associated sounds are present but nothing actually happens.Any help would be appreciated.

System Specs:
MB: ROG Strix X-570E Gaming
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X
VC: Gigabyte 5600XT 6gb
RAM: 32gI play the Steam version on max settings without any issues.
