Why is my rank grey?

Just wondering why my rank is grey on FAF? I've played 33 ranked games and I often see "No Grey" in listed games. Is that because my steam validation? I checked that, and I have my account linked and a valid license. Am I just missing something? Do I simply need to play more games?
