You have failed to find a place for your building. Try again

When you are the construction cursor mode looking for a place for a building and accidentally click on an invalid place, you are kicked out of the construction cursor mode and have to click on the building icon again. Is it possible to fix it?

Use hotbuilding instead, press f1 and then go to the hotbuilding section

I like the idea... quality of life changes are always good.
Could also do what SupCom 2 does, and adjust the building slightly to where it can be placed, though that may get annoying to manage, at times.
Works well when dragging lines of structures, though.

@freedom_ What are you even talking about? The thread is about cursor getting out of the construction mode when you fail to find a place for your structure.

please correct me if I misremember but doesn't holding shift prevent you from getting kicked out of build mode?
