        Have seen this error a few times recently, the last guy did not respond anymore.

        Random guesses:

        • Reinstall FAF, remove any leftover files before
        • Update/Reinstall java
        • Try a VPN
        • Disable security software
        • Try a different client https://github.com/Eternal-ll/Ethereal-FAF-Client/releases/download/v0.5-beta-fixes/win-x64.rar

          It’s a network error. The client is unable to establish a secure connection to the content server for downloading the game files.

            Thanks, I fixed it, it was something to do with the firewall
