How do you mute people?

I bring up the chatbox, click on the settings tool, see a list of everyones names, I uncheck the person I want to never hear from, I close the settings box and nothing happens. I can still see the messages from the moron. Is there a known bug with this?

I also want to know. The chat filter doesn't seem to work. Bobster, here's looking at you.
Also, people on your foe list, you can still see their lobbies and they can still see and join yours (more of a client than core mod issue but apropos to the op)

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
