Hey, thanks for the answer. So you guys are currently in february atm. Again, just curious how much work is involved in verifying the accuracy of reports?
For example, I just reported an abusive player for chat. You can see the entire chat log in the replay area, no need to run the game and watch the thing until the abuse occurs. For something like that, does it be resolved with a quick glance at the log?
Also, how many people action these reports? Depending what's involved, then if possible I might be interested in helping out.

Hmm, I guess my next question would be roughly how many moderator reports come in during an average week/month?

              Around 10 reports per day.
Can also mention the report Voodoo mentioned is the oldest one, doesn't mean we don't process reports in-between.

Plus you cant just insta ban all of the reported otherwise player base drops massively so it just takes time and a lot of reports so it will be done in time.

People deserve a chance to learn the rules as well. Many people will realise that it's not okay and change what they do.

Here are the steps we do normally:

                      1. Open the moderation tool and read the report.
                      2. Check for name changes.
                      3. Check for previous bans or warnings.
                      4. Watching the replay or the game chat.
                      5. Closing the report with a notice of our decision.
                      6. Creating a forum post about the user/action.
                      7. If it is only a warning, pming the user.

A problem is also if the users talked in other languages in game.

Hence why sometimes if the games are russian its more necessary to have the russian speaking mod handle it such as Rezy or Zlo (soz forgot other names) and if theyre busy then the report just takes more time.
One way or another the report will be reviewed regardless.

In addition an action might be brought up within the moderation team for discussion, especially before handing out perma bans, which adds more time to the process.
Investigating smurfs can also be way more time consuming than other reports.
